Jessica Slater
Physiotherapist
BHSc (Physio)
Jess completed her Physiotherapy degree after growing up heavily involved in sport and experiencing her own injuries along the way. This background, combined with a genuine passion for helping others, naturally drew her to physiotherapy as a career.
She has worked across musculoskeletal private practice, hospital rehabilitation, and cardiorespiratory settings, and enjoys treating a broad range of clients, from athletes to older adults. Jess takes a warm, empathetic approach and values building strong relationships so her clients feel supported and confident throughout their physiotherapy journey.
Jess has a particular interest in sports injuries and exercise-based rehabilitation, combining hands-on treatment with clear, progressive exercise plans tailored to each individual. Alongside her time in the clinic, she works as a group fitness instructor and is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where exercise feels enjoyable, motivating, and sustainable long-term.
As a proud Browns Bay local, she is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of her community. Outside of work, you can find her playing netball, training at the gym, or spending time with friends and whānau.
