Jacky is a passionate musculoskeletal sports physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Otago in 2020. He has a diverse background across both tertiary and primary care. Alongside several years in private practice and sports settings, Jacky has also completed hospital rotations through orthopaedics, medical, and rehabilitation with Te Whatu Ora. He has worked with teams such as Western Springs Football, Northland Kauri Farah Palmer Cup, and Waikato Varsity Rugby.
Jacky believes that “if you have a body, you are an athlete”. He is passionate about building your understanding and providing helpful tools/strategies in aiding you through your recovery. Expect a mixture of education, manual therapy and exercise as you work with Jacky in building a tailored treatment plan to achieve your goals — whether that’s returning to everyday activity or performing at a competitive level.
Outside the clinic, Jacky is an avid rock climber with an athletic background in volleyball and Olympic weightlifting.
