Sue Toppin
Sonographer
Sue Toppin is a Sonographer with a special interest in musculoskeletal and general ultrasound. She started her career in 1984 training at the Auckland School of Radiography and worked at Auckland Hospital as a Radiographer working in theatre, CT and angiography. Sue started training in ultrasound completing the Australasian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) Diploma of Medical Ultrasound in 1996. She has worked in both public and private ultrasound clinics in Auckland, served a term as a practical examiner for ASUM and took a year out working as a locum in the UK.
In 2019 Sue opened her own ultrasound clinic, Ultrasoundirect, joining the team at In Good Hands Physio. Ultrasoundirect offers a wide range of musculoskeletal and general ultrasound examinations including ultrasound guided steroid injections.
Her interests include skiing and orienteering. She can often be found walking her dog on Long Bay beach.
